Are you covered by Public Liability Insurance?
Yes, we are covered up to 5 million pounds, including Insurance for operating on Licensed Premises. A copy of our certification is available on request. Although the hirer is fully responsible for the supervision of the children on the inflatable and the condition the castle is maintained in.
Do we have to collect the Castles from you?
No, our prices included delivery, setting up and dismantling. We do not allow any of our units to be erected by anyone but ourselves.
What age group are the castles suitable?
Most of our castles are suitable for children up to the age of 14. If you require a castle for an Adult event, we can almost certainly arrange this for you please either email or call us. Adults are not insured on the childrens castles or approved under Health and Safety guidelines. Our Adult Sumo Suits, Bodyzorbing and Rocking Gladiator Coliseum are insured and suitable for children and adults.
Are the Inflatables clean and tidy?
Yes they are, all of our inflatables are cleaned prior to you using them. If they do get dirty we would ask you please to clean and leave the inflatable in the same condition you received it in.
Can you put the Bouncy Castle up on any surface?
Flat Grassed areas are the most suitable, although as you can see we also cover indoor venues which are also fine. The space required needs to be free from any sharp objects, loose gravel, chippings, Dog droppings, trees, washing lines and plants etc. We require 2ft extra either side of the inflatable and about 5ft in front to make it easy for use and safe for children either entering or exiting the Inflatable and 5ft behind the inflatable for the blower. We are unable to hire Inflatables that are required to be set up on hard surfaces for Health & Safety reasons.
Can you go through my house?
We prefer a side entrance or rear access, due to the weight of the inflatables. But if you do not have any of the above, please let us know and we will arrange the inflatable to suit your needs (size permitting).
Are you members of any organisations that are important to the Bouncy castle Business?
Yes, we are members of the British Inflatable Hirers Association.
Can we hire more than one bouncy castle?
Yes please, as long as you have the space available. We can offer a discount on the total hire price for this, please contact us .
What type of event can your Bouncy castles/slides be hired for?
Almost any event, including private Birthday parties/functions, barbeques, school fetes, carnivals, pub gardens, corporate days, school holiday camps, fund raising events and any other event where fun is required!
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We offer a free of charge cancellation option in the event of heavy rain or high winds if the booking is outside. To take advantage of this option the hirer must telephone us no later 6.00pm the day before the hire date. If the booking is cancelled for any other reason or after this time, the hirer will incur a cancellation charge of 25% of the total hire price to cover the costs involved for administration and loss of booking.
What times are we able to start bouncing?
We can normally deliver and collect to suit you, although we do try and operate in reasonable logical route. If your event does have an exact starting time we would always work around this to suit your needs! We always will confirm drop off and collection times with you in the week running up to your hire. Our main hours during the core Summer Months is to deliver the Castle between 7.30am – midday (sometimes earlier) and we collect from 5.00pm – 8.00pm. Any requests outside this time normally can be accomodated for a small charge, please ask for details.
If your event is being held in an Indoor Venue we require a one hour time slot before and after the event has finished for delivery, set up and collection.
Are the inflatables available overnight?
Yes they are at an additional cost of £35.00. We will always require a £100.00 deposit for this and two forms of identification, which is fully returnable on collection of the castle if the castle is not damaged and is clean. We would also request that the Inflatable is deflated and covered over with one of our covers and the electrical equipment is placed indoors when you have finished with the castle.
Once you arrive how long does it take to set up and dismantle?
We always will require clear access to deliver the inflatable, once we have this to set up and be ready for use normally takes between 10 to 15 minutes. It takes approximately the 15 – 30 minutes to deflate and pack away dependent on the size of the inflatable.
Once the Bouncy Castle is erected can we move it?
No, definatley not, The Public Liability Insurance would be invalidated and it could be very dangerous to both the people moving it and the children bouncing on it.
Is our equipment safety tested?
Yes all our inflatables have safety RPII certificates and the blowers and extension leads all have RCD plugs fitted. It is also our policy not to have any tatty castles on our fleet so the castle you receive from us will be in excellent condition. We always supply safety mats with every inflatable. We always ask that the hirer reads and signs are Disclaimer and Agreement Form prior to use of the inflatable. This will ensure that you know how to safely supervise the operation of the unit whilst in your care.
How does the castle stay up?
By an electrical blower, which stays on all the time the inflatable is in use, we provide up to 50 metres of extension lead cable. If a power supply is not available a generator can be supplied at a small additional cost but is only available with Big on Bouncing staff.
What is the cost per day to run a bouncy castle on my electric?
Believe it or not, it doesnt cost any more than a £1 a day to run a bouncy castle/slide.
How do we pay?
We accept all major debit/credit cards no later than 4 days prior to your event by calling 01628 410736 or 07926 751243. We are able to accept cheques from Schools and Charities. Alternatively full payment must be paid on delivery of our equipment in cash with two forms of ID, unfortunately if full payment is not received on delivery of our equipment we are unable to leave our equipment with you.
